Circuitry snacks
In a bid to attract youngsters to the world of electronic design, internet bods have created a website which claims to be 'the tastiest way to design and learn about electronic circuits.'
The webmasters offer a number of suggestions, such as the use of crackers which are useful when attempting to replicate circuit boards. Naturally, icing is a useful way of sticking on the components. Liquorice Allsorts, it seems, are an ideal substitute for a multitude of capacitors, while Atmel's AVR ATmega168 can be reproduced by combining a Kit Kat with a toothpick.
The array of edible components can be viewed here. But be warned, the webmasters encourage visitors to submit their own ideas and you could find yourself spending all weekend constructing an LED Blinker from Poptarts and pretzel sticks.
