We should expect more security scares, the rise and fall of a range of technologies – talk is all around the rise of robotics, artificial intelligence and augmented reality – as well as more acquisitions and mergers.
One bright spot is the billions of dollars now being pledged on technology based projects. Could 2016 be the year in which crowdfunding generates more cash than traditional VC routes?Whatever happens, it will be an interesting 12 months.
