The Sensors & Instrumentation Knowledge Centre would like to invite you to its flagship event, the Intelligent Sensing Programme.
Now in its 8th year, this quarterly event is the national forum for developers, suppliers and end users of sensor systems and instrumentation. This event will keep you up to date with sensor technology requirements, developments, opportunities and facilitate effective networking and knowledge exchange. The event will also feature five elevator pitches which will highlight opportunities for new business collaborations and partnerships.
We have a wide range of presentations from industry and academia - these include:
• Sensing for Aero Gas Turbine Control Systems, Aero Engine Controls
• Aspects of Intelligent Sensing for Aerospace and Defence - A view from a subsystem supplier, Cobham
• Gas sensor arrays for sensing odours based on conducting polymers, University of Manchester
• Real time location systems to track people and assets, Ubisense
• Sensing needs at Tyco: Opportunities for SMEs, Tyco Electronics
• Cell based system for toxicity testing of potential drug compounds, University of West of England
• Non invasive blood analysis using microwave technology, Microsense
• Trends in future military sensors and opportunities with MoD, DSTL
A new addition to the ISP programme is an 'elevator pitch' session highlighting opportunities for new business collaborations in the development and application of innovative sensor technology.
The event also provides excellent opportunities for networking and the Sensors & Instrumentation KC staff will be on hand to assist with enquires and networking on the day.
