Display Solutions seminar on breakthrough display technologies
1 min read
Display Solutions is to host its first seminar to showcase advances in digital displays, sunlight readable technology, touchscreens and embedded computing.
The event, at Duxford Air Museum on October 13th 2009, will bring together leading experts in their respective technology fields to discuss advances and technical developments relating to the hottest trends in digital signage.
Cheng Yoe is managing director of Display Solutions and explains the ethos behind the seminar: "Basically, we wanted to bring the whole spectrum of digital display thinking and innovation together in a UK forum. Developments are taking place with such fierce momentum in the world of digital signage we felt it would be very useful to host an event where the audience would be able to take advantage of the thought-leaders in commercial applications."
Amongst the speakers will be Natalie Chang, president of CiVue, the company responsible for developing an advanced system of optical bonding for sunlight-readability in even the harshest of environments and Jesse Chen of EETI, whose company has recently launched a unique multi-user capacitive touch with gesturing capability touchscreen.
Already this year, Display Solutions has won contracts to supply and design systems across the medical, public information and retail arenas drawing on its success and experience in combining innovative products with practical and cost effective application. Hosting the Duxford seminar will be the company's systems manager, Martin Whitehead: "We hope anybody interested in learning more about digital displays and what can now be delivered in a reliable and useful format will join us in Duxford. I'm hoping the exchange of information will prove invaluable!"
