Embedded Graphic Enhanced Microcontroller Seminar

Designers in the North of England looking to implement a user-friendly graphical user interface (GUI) are invited to attend a joint Abacus and Toshiba seminar on 26 February at the Copthorne Hotel, Manchester.
Aimed at helping them make use of the graphics control and processing capabilities of Toshiba’s new ARM9 based MCU to simplify their industrial, control and multimedia applications, the Manchester based event follows on from the success of a similar seminar held in Newbury in December. The seminar shows how to make use of the new Toshiba TMPA910xxx, a 200MHz device based on the ARM926EJ-CPU™ core, an LCD controller with hardware graphics accelerator and a touch screen interface to create a state of the art, accessible and user-friendly user interface for their current or upcoming project.
Delegates are invited to bring their own laptops if they wish, allowing them to install the tools supplied, connect up the starter kit and start compiling and running their intended target application. The hands on training will take the delegates through a complete tool chain turn around, from edit through compile to the download and debugging of several example programs, including a graphical program, a USB interface and Ethernet/Webserver applications.
