Sustainability seminars

The event takes place at the Renaissance Manchester Hotel, Blackfriars Street, Manchester, M3 2EQ. The areas that will be covered during the workshop will include: • Optimising product design; • Optimising packaging design; • Achieving cost savings through reduction in assembly time and lower production costs; • Hands-on demonstration opportunities for eco-design in practice; • An update on legislation, covering WEEE, RoHS and EuP. Envirowise experts will lead delegate groups in the disassembly of their products. Packaging, materials, design and legislative compliance will be examined and opportunities for improvement identified. All companies from the manufacturing sector can benefit from applying eco-design and looking at resource efficient production processes. Envirowise invites designers, product and design engineers, design solution providers, product line managers, together with colleagues from operations and production managers, senior engineers as well as environmental representatives to come along and explore opportunities for their products.
