3M touch technology put to use in roulette tables
A Slovenian gaming machine developer is using 3M's surface capacitive touch technology in its 22inch multiuser electronic roulette tables.
The move is said to provide a more responsive and immersive user experience.
Gold Club's electronic roulette tables incorporate up to 10 touchscreens attached to a main computer. The 3M MicroTouch MCT System consists of a touch sensor, a hybrid touch controller and haptic feedback electronics, along with two or more touchscreen actuators. The system provides feedback effects for on screen video buttons so users 'feel' like they are pressing buttons.
