ADI’s ceo Jerry Fishman dies
Analog Devices' longstanding ceo Jerald Fishman has died of an apparent heart attack. He was 67 years old.
Fishman first joined the company's product marketing division in 1971. He became president in 1991 and ceo in 1996.
"This is a terrible loss for all of us here at ADI," said Ray Stata, chairman of the company's board. "Jerry dedicated his entire career to building ADI into a great company - one of which we all are enormously proud."
ADI says it has appointed Vincent Roche, the company's current president, as interim ceo.
