Agilent launches 27GHz PXIe vector signal analyser
1 min read
The fastest, highest performing PXIe vector signal analyser has been touted by Agilent Technologies.
The M9393A is capable of operating up to 27GHz and can be used to validate the manufacturing and design of transmitters and components for radar, military, satellite and commercial wireless communications.
Featuring a 2.4GHz quad core processor with up to 12GB/s data bandwidth, the analyser offers frequency coverage from 9kHz to 27GHz and 160MHz analysis bandwidth.
The M9393A also offers ±0.15dB absolute amplitude accuracy, -160dBm displayed average noise level and +30dBm third-order intermodulation (TOI). Frequency switching is less than 150ms.
"The introduction of the M9393A is the culmination of close collaboration between our customers and development teams to provide a breakthrough in microwave signal analysis," said Agilent's Mark Pierpoint. "Not only does the PXI form factor give system ready capability for single or multi channel measurements in a small footprint, it also delivers unmatched speed."
The M9393A leverages Agilent's X-Series measurement applications and 89600 VSA software, the latter of which allows the module to measure across 27GHz in less than one second, with 10kHz resolution bandwidth, for fast measurements of harmonics and spurs.
