Anders announces ‘smallest and most cost effective’ SoM
Anders Electronics has launched what it claims to be the smallest, feature packed Atom based system on module (SoM) with dual GbE.

The CM-iAM measures 65 x 75mm and, according to Anders, incorporates more features than any other Atom Z530 SoM – up to 2Gb RAM, 4Gb on board Flash disk, SATA i/f, dual GbE and up to 3PCIe lanes.
It has onboard resources that run Linux, Windows XP or 7 and its X86 architecture runs most software applications written for pcs. The CM-iAM offers multiple display interfaces (rgb, lvds and sdvo) with resolutions up to 1920 x 1200. For embedded applications, it has several display interfaces, up to 3PCIe lanes, dual GbE ports, an RS232 serial port and up to 15gpio lines.
Rob Anders, ceo of Anders, said: "The CM-iAM is a true first – the smallest and most cost effective SoM on the market, that doesn't compromise on processing power or feature set."
