The analogue IC specialist says it has already halved its carbon footprint since 2004 and now plans to further reduce CO₂ emission by more than 9000tonnes. This, says the company, can be achieved by switching to 100% green electricity, primarily based on water generated sources. "We are proud to announce that we are making significant progress towards the zero carbon footprint goal we have set for the company," said austriamicrosystems' ceo John Heugle, pictured.
