Cadence resignations

Following the resignation of Cadence Design System’s president, ceo and director Michael Fister, it has been announced that the board of directors has formed an interim office to oversee the day to day running of the company’s operations. The board has formed a search committee to identify qualified candidates to lead the company on a permanent basis. A number of other resignations have also been announced, including Kevin Bushby, executive vice president, worldwide field operations; James S Miller Jr, executive vice president, products and technologies organisation; William Porter, executive vice president and chief administrative officer and RL Smith McKeithen, executive vice president, corporate affairs. All resignations are effective immediately. The company does not intend to fill the positions held by Miller, Porter or McKeithen.
