Cypress ships billionth CapSense controller
Cypress Semiconductor has shipped its one billionth CapSense capacitive touch sensing controller.
Targeted at battery powered applications, the devices offer advanced proximity sensing, high noise immunity, an ultra wide operating voltage range and multiple low power modes.
To mark the achievement, Cypress is offering a 50% discount on all CapSense development kits.

"Cypress will continue to develop innovative capacitive sensing products that are easy to use and that pave the way for the next generation of user interface applications."
