Dialog, ams agree to disagree
The merger discussions between Dialog and ams have failed to make progress and the two companies have agreed to terminate the talks.
According to Dialog, it remains committed to exploring opportunities to enhance its product portfolio and expand its addressable market through strategic transactions.
It will also continue with its plan to become a leading provider of analogue mixed signal semiconductors for a range of fast growing market segments.
Jalal Bagherli, pictured, Dialog's CEO, said: "With the end of these discussions, it is business as usual, namely delivering increasing value for our shareholders. We will continue on our profitable growth path – as demonstrated by our track record – and build a truly vibrant, global and diversified mixed signal semiconductor business."
