Embedded systems lab comes to Glasgow
Freescale is to open an embedded systems lab at the University of Glasgow.
The facility will replace the existing 8bit microcontroller lab the company has supported for more than 20 years.
Freescale's Kinetis 32bit mcus, based around ARM Cortex-M0+ technology, will be the primary devices for lab activities.
Second, third and fourth year electronics and electrical engineering students will also benefit from its Tower System development platform, as well as its CodeWarrior software development tools.
