Embedded World 2012 attains record number of visitors
The organisers of Embedded World 2012 have reported that the event resulted in a record number of visitors – more than 20,000, a 17% increase on 2011.
International exhibitors also increased by 9% on the previous year, making the 10th Embedded World the biggest in the history of the event.
Professor Dr Ing Matthias Sturm, HTWK Leipzig, chairman of the Embedded World Exhibition Committee, said: "The Embedded World Exhibition&Conference has shown once again that it is the top get together for the embedded community. The rapid development in this sector is tangible at Embedded World. The extension to five exhibition halls provided room for even more engineering know how and pioneering innovations across all areas of the sector."
In total, there were 22,262 trade visitors and 872 exhibitors, while the final Student Day attracted more than 1000 university students.
The next embedded world Exhibition&Conference takes place from 26 to 28 February 2013.
