Embedded World 2014: ARM brings CSR into its mbed community
CSR has joined ARM's mbed platform as a component partner.
The move will enable members of the development community to gain access to CSR's portfolio of Bluetooth, Bluetooth Smart, Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity solutions, making it easy for them to be integrated into existing microcontroller projects.
"With so many diverse devices being made that will be connected to the internet, as well as with each other, this partnership reflects our commitment to ease developers' efforts in getting their connected products to market quickly, easily and cost effectively," said Anthony Murray, senior vp of CSR's business group.
The first connectivity and Bluetooth Smart add-on solutions for mbed will be demonstrated at Embedded World show in Nuremberg until 27 February, with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS location solutions following later in the year.
