EMC tests speeded

TÜV Product Service is launching what it says is the UK’s first ‘spot check’ emc testing facility for retailers. The facility, which comes into operation this month, will be able to conduct spot check EMC tests for approximately 50% less than the current industry rate. In addition, its flexible nature will allow overnight turnaround, enabling retailers to get products onto the high street faster. Richard Poate, Compliance Services Manager at TÜV Product Service commented: “Traditional emc testing can prove expensive and time consuming. However, our new facility enables us to offer retailers a flexible and cost effective solution that can produce results overnight.”
