Energy Micro launches online forum for energy friendly design
Microcontroller and radio specialist Energy Micro has launched the 'Lizard Lounge', an online community for technical discussion related to its energy friendly 32bit ARM based EFM32 Gecko mcu.
The community includes FAQs, technical how to guides and a user forum where EFM32 users and Energy Micro's technical team can contribute. Community members will also get early access to new tools and software.
"Designers are used to sharing information and helping each other online, so we've set up this platform for those who need to achieve the most energy efficient applications based around microcontrollers," commented Rasmus Larsen , Energy Micro's support and training manager.
To coincide with the announcement, the company is also running a competition for the best low power design that uses its products.
