Everspin introduces mrams with serial interfaces
Everspin Technologies is launching a family of mram products featuring the spi interface, opening the technology to a wider range of applications.
The MR25H serial mram family includes 256kbit, 512kbit and 1Mbit products offering no write delay, clock speeds of up to 40MHz and more than 20 year's of data retention.
Dr Saied Tehrani, Everspin's chief operating officer, said: "These products expand Everspin's current portfolio of parallel interface x8 and x16 products broadly used in storage, industrial automation, office equipment, gaming, computer and communications systems."
The memories are byte organised internally, containing 32kbyte, 64kbyte and 128kbyte blocks respectively. Industry standard serial spi command codes and timing enable easy connection to existing mcu and system designs. Devices in the MR25H256 family operate from supplies ranging from 2.7 to 3.6V, and feature a sleep mode with a typical consumption of 3µA.
