Free starter kit for delegates
A free starter kit worth €800 is to be given away to delegates attending an embedded Linux workshop.
MPC Data and Renesas Technology Europe will provide a free Renesas RSK+7203 starter kit, together with a Linux Evaluation SDK, to delegates attending its workshop on 23 June.
The workshop has been designed to enable engineers to learn the basics of embedded Linux for real industrial control applications and examine the possibilities of open source software.
According to Renesas, the Little Blue Linux products have been created to ease the transition from traditional RTOS environments on 8, 16 and 32bit microcontrollers, to a royalty free embedded Linux operating system.
The first one day workshop, will take place at Renesas' headquarters in Bourne End.
