Industry's highest performing handheld oscilloscopes?

With up to 200MHz bandwidth and 5GS/s sample rate, the new devices are said to bring a new level of measurement precision and accuracy to engineers and technicians who need to debug, install and repair complex electronics systems. "As the first true high performance handheld oscilloscope, the THS3000 series has the technical performance for analysis of low voltage analogue and digital control signals," said Roy Siegel, general manager for oscilloscopes at Tektronix. "In addition, the THS3000 series offers isolated inputs for safely making high voltage floating or differential measurements." The oscilloscopes weigh in at 4.8lbs, have approximately seven hours of battery life and feature four isolated channels. Models are available in either 100MHz and 2.5GS/s maximum sampling rate or 200MHZ and 5GS/s sample rate performance. Each channel is isolated from the chassis ground and from each other. With 21 automated measurements, Tektronix says the devices enable users to make common measurements quickly and accurately. A built in fast fourier transform function is designed to provide insight into the frequency spectrum of a signal, revealing signal interference, crosstalk or switching noise.
