Lecroy combines two scopes to provide four channels at 30GHz
LeCroy says it has extended the power of its WaveMaster 830 Zi 30 GHz real-time oscilloscope by providing a method to combine two oscilloscopes and provide four channels at 30GHz.
According to the oscilloscope specialist, this is a world's first and the solution is suitable for measurement and analysis of 28 to 56Gb/s iq modulated signals where ultra-high realtime bandwidth and four channels is required. Alternatively, Lecroy says it is suitable for capture and detailed analysis of other leading edge technologies.
The device is enabled with the Zi-8CH-SYNCH oscilloscope synchronisation kit, which is compatible with all WaveMaster 8 Zi models, so it may be used to create four channel data captures from 20 to 30GHz or eight channel data captures from 4 to 16GHz.
