Microdisplay for portable products
Using technology recently acquired from Displaytech, Micron has launched a microdisplay panel as part of a strategy to deliver a range of differentiated products.
The wqvga microdisplay solution is intended to enable portable video and image projection in applications such as head mounted displays and embedded mobile phone projectors.
The device integrates the display panel and control circuitry in a compact package. With a power consumption of 85mW, the display is suited to applications where portability and battery life are critical.
