More NAND memories from Numonyx
Numonyx has expanded its portfolio with a range NAND flash memories for use in wireless, embedded and data storage applications. The introduction includes multi level cell devices storing up to 32Gbit, eMMC parts storing up to 32Gbyte and microSD products with capacities of up to 8Gbyte. All parts are fabricated on the company’s 41nm process technology.
“We have accelerated our NAND offerings to industry leading levels,” claimed Fabio Gualandris, vice president and general manager of Numonyx’ Data Business Group. “With the 41nm technology NAND products, Numonyx will bring further value to our wireless and embedded customers, as well as eventually entering new segments specifically dedicated to data storage, with leading technology and high density memory.”
According to the company, the new products will provide manufacturers of mobile phones and other consumer electronics with simple to design memory solutions, while consumers will have more storage available on their devices.
