Exascend products are built on in-house-developed hardware and firmware platforms, and exclusively engineered with Marvell's state-of-the-art SSD controllers, targeting enterprise and industrial applications such as artificial intelligence, autonomous driving, edge storage, industrial automation, cinematography, telemetry, and mission-critical solutions.
Exascend's patented algorithm continuously monitors drive thermals, and regulates drive performance to improve SSD reliability, simultaneously enhancing sustained performance and quality of service (QoS) by a factor of ten.
The Exascend product line now available from Mouser includes the industrial-class PI3, SI3, SI2 series - as well as the enterprise-class PE3 series SSDs - across the M.2, U.2, 2.5", and mSATA form factors.
The PI3 series SSDs are tough, ultra-high-capacity, high-speed PCIe Gen3 NVMe SSDs engineered exclusively for applications that demand maximum ruggedness and is available in capacities up to 8 TB, capable of sustained sequential read performance of 3,200 megabytes per second (MBps) and sequential write performance of 1,700 MBps. They are intended for use in applications such as edge servers, transportation, high-performance telemetry, data logging storage, and mission-critical solutions. The SI3 series and SI2 series SSDs are industrial-grade SATA 3 devices with 3D TLC and MLC NAND flash respectively, offering high speed and low latency with capacities up to 4 TB.
The PI3, SI3, and SI2 series are designed with innovative features and optimizations for industrial and rugged applications, such as wide temperature-support and protection against neutron single event upsets (NSEU), and offer TCG Opal 2.0, using hardware encryption technology to secure data stored.
Mouser also offers Exascend's enterprise-grade PE3 series PCIe Gen3x4 SSDs, which feature a temperature range of 0ºC to 70ºC and capacities up to 7.68 TB. The PE3 series SSDs are capable of sequential read performance of 3,200 MBps and sequential write performance of 2,000 MBps.
