Mouser unveils online industrial application centre

Available at uk.mouser.com/industrial_applications, the site is organised into four sectors: applications, featured products, articles, and resources. These cover areas from intelligent occupancy sensors to programmable logic controllers. Kevin Hess, vp of technical marketing at Mouser, commented: "For the engineer, time is one valuable component that is always in short supply. We wanted to create a training site that places the latest innovations and advancements in building automation and industrial controls at the design engineer's fingertips. Our industrial site is extremely intuitive, offering useful application information and component selection criteria with a single click." The site is designed to complement the company's line card, which includes component manufacturers such as Texas Instruments, International Rectifier and Panasonic. Mouser plans to continuously develop and update the site to ensure relevancy as the building automation sector advances.
