Mobile GEO has been named Innovations 2009 Design and Engineering Award Honouree by the Consumer Electronics Association.
Code Factory’s GPS navigation software for the visually impaired works with a range of mainstream mobile devices. Users can pinpoint specific locations, learn about points of interest and plan routes while receiving instructions and information along the route. Mobile GEO supports versions 5.0, 6.0 and 6.1 of Windows Mobile operating system and is compatible with around 300 personal digital assistants and mobile phones operating on GSM, CDMA and WCDMA networks. However, it requires users to install MSP v2.0146 and MSS v2.0.178 on Windows Mobile devices.
