New sponsors for Engineering Design Show

The companies join Schaeffler UK as headline sponsors, with other exhibitors including Anglia Components, Pacer and TDK-Lambda. Premier's managing director Phil Mayo said: "I believe we need a platform to showcase UK engineering, particularly on the design side, to highlight the exciting things that are happening today." Mayo added that Premier's 2012 strategy includes launching a UK Design Community. "The Engineering Design Show will help us to bring that all together." The Show, which takes place from 10 to 11 October 2012 at the Jaguar Exhibition Hall at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry, will focus on the needs of design engineers in both the mechanical and electronic fields and includes a comprehensive conference and workshop programme. The two day conference will focus on the requirements and realities of UK design engineers, with subjects including multicore mcus, embedded fpgas, embedded software development and design security.
