Nine extended temperature products added to power module range

According to the power management specialist, the LMZ10503/4/5EXT, LMZ12001/2/3EXT and LMZ14201/2/3EXT modules are designed to provide the efficiency of a synchronous switching regulator with the simplicity of a linear regulator, eliminating the external inductor and layout placement challenges typical of switching regulator designs. The operating junction temperature range of -55 to 125^°C are designed to make the new power modules suitable for fpgas, microprocessors, dsps and other point of load conversions in harsh environments such as industrial and military applications. The LMZ10503/4/5EXT power modules support maximum load currents of 5A with an input voltage range of 2.95 to 5.5V, while the LMZ12001/2/3EXT modules support maximum load currents of 3A with an input voltage range of 4.5 to 20V. Lastly, the LMZ14201/2/3EXT power modules support maximum load currents of 3A with an input voltage range of 6 to 42V.
