Oscilloscope range offers high end touch control features
Teledyne LeCroy has launched the WaveSurfer 3000 series of oscilloscopes featuring the MAUI interface, previously available on the company's higher end devices. WaveSurfer 3000 oscilloscopes are available with bandwidths ranging from 200MHz to 500MHz, with memory depths of 10Mpt/channel memory and capable of acquiring data at up to 4Gsample/s.
WaveSurfer 3000 devices feature a variety of multi instrument capabilities, says the company, including: waveform generation, with a built in function generator; protocol analysis, with serial data trigger and decode; and logic analysis, with a 16 channel mixed signal option.
With an update rate of 130,000 waveform/s, a History mode and the ability to search and find using WaveScan, the WaveSurfer 3000 is said to support designers looking to detect waveform anomalies.
Teledyne LeCroy says the MAUI interface has been designed for touch, allowing all important controls – including positioning and zooming waveforms, moving cursors, configuring measurements and interaction – accomplished via touch screen controls on the unit's 10.1in screen.
