Patent dispute settled
An agreement has been settled between On Semiconductor and Samsung Electronics following an outstanding patent infringement of DRAM products.
Both companies have cross licensed their respective patent portfolios for a 'significant' term of years. On Semiconductor's president and ceo, Keith Jackson, said: "I am very pleased that we have reached this settlement to end this patent litigation with Samsung. The settlement supports our long term strategic plans and reflects well on our willingness to develop flexible deal structures."
