Suitable for a wide range of electronics applications, the OKW DIN RAIL ADAPTER B6811751 is designed to fit the popular TH35, TH15 and G32 DIN rails. It can be fixed to the back of the enclosure (wall thickness 3 mm) using two screws (which are supplied), and then located onto the rail. The adapter is moulded from PA 66 (UL 94 V-0) in black (RAL 9005) as standard.
The second DIN RAIL ADAPTER to be introduced recently (B1300017, off-white or B1300019, black) fits TH35 and G32 rails. It was designed for OKW’s IP 66 ROBUST-BOX and TOPTEC universal plastic enclosures but can also be fitted to other OKW housings, including the company’s new EVOTEC designer table-top enclosures as shown here.
OKW offers a wide range of DIN rail enclosure accessories and options which can be examined and discussed on the company’s stand at PCB Live on March 12th. They include an existing adapter (B6811542) which enables 18 DIN rail enclosures from the RAILTEC C range to be fitted to TH35, G32 and TH15 rails.
Customisation services for plastic enclosures also offered by OKW include CNC machining, custom enclosure colours and finishes, lacquering, the printing of logos, legends and branding using digital, screen or tampo processes, laser marking, photo quality decor foils and EMC shielding, installation and assembly.
The PCB Live event is being held at the acclaimed British Motor Museum, located adjacent to the JLR and Aston Martin facilities just one minute from the M40 south of Warwick. The museum houses almost 300 vehicles, highlighting some of the best (and, possibly, worst…..) waypoints in UK automotive history. It is well worth a visit, and entry to the museum is free to all pre-registered PCB Live visitors. (The standard adult entry fee otherwise is £14.50). Visitors also benefit from abundant free parking immediately adjacent to the hall, a free bacon roll and brew on arrival (before 1030), and free tea and coffee on site all day.
