PNY Technologies’ is describing its latest system as ‘the most powerful professional graphics board in graphics history’.
The NVIDIA Quadro FX 5800 delivers 4GB of graphics memory, with memory bandwidth of up to 102 GB per second and 240 CDU programmable parallel cores.
The FX 5800 is joined by the 4800, which features a 1.5GB frame buffer with 76.8GB/sec memory bandwidth.
Jeff Medeiros, PNY’s senior business development manager, said: “By combining advanced visualisation and computational performance, these latest additions to the NVIDIA Quadro ultra high end professional graphics board family enable our partners to deliver next generation solutions for large scale clusters, aerospace image generators, tiled wall displays, high definition projection, as well as film and broadcast applications.”
