Plextek joins NMI’s new automotive consortium
Plextek has announced that it will lend its expertise to the NMI's recently unveiled Automotive Electronic Systems Innovation Network (AESIN) consortium.
AESIN aims to help increase the UK's global competitiveness by stimulating change in the automotive supply chain that will enable oems to more readily embrace new innovations.
"We are delighted to welcome Plextek to participate in the AESIN consortium in its role as an independent consultant, while also bringing to the table its extensive design and manufacturing experience in this market," said Paul Jarvie, network manager, automotive at NMI.
As an independent consultant and manufacturer, Plextek is actively engaged with silicon vendors and Tier 1&2s and hopes to create effective channels to the oems for previously unexploited innovations.
