Power-S08 mosfets target automotive applications
NXP has introduced 54 new automotive qualified mosfets in an LFPAK56 package.
Said to deliver industry leading performance and reliability, the devices are particularly suited to the areas of powertrain, body and security, chassis and safety.
NXP claims they save more than 55% of the footprint area compared to DPAK, resulting in lower overall costs.
"The mechanical robustness and excellent thermal performance of LFPAK56, combined with its small footprint, make it ideal for high reliability automotive applications," said Jamie Dyer, the company's international product marketing manager.
The mosfets are available at voltage grades of 30, 40, 60, 80 and 100V, with strong RDS (on) performance and current handling across the range.
