RF transistors cover all cellular infrastructure bands
Two new Airfast rf power solutions have been introduced by Freescale.
The AFT27S006N and AFT27S010N utilise the company's advanced LDMOS process technology to deliver 6 and 10W of peak power, respectively.
They feature a frequency range of 700 to 2700MHz and single-stage gain from 20 to 24dB.
Suited to base station MIMO applications rated up to 40W, the devices are available in an ultra small package and cover all major cellular infrastructure bands.
"With this product introduction, Freescale has taken one of its best rf devices and made it better," said Ritu Favre, senior vice president and general manager of Freescale's rf business. "Our advanced LDMOS process technology enables our new Airfast devices to be smaller and more capable across all major cellular frequency bands."
