RS launches IoT design centre
RS Components has launched an Internet of Things (IoT) themed area via its online DesignSpark community, offering users software design tools and resources for rapid prototyping and product development.
The IoT page includes a series of blogs and in-depth articles, exploring issues such as where the IoT is headed, security risks and network infrastructure.
Pete Wood, DesignSpark community manager at RS, said: "As a community that has been at the forefront of providing updated information on the latest industry trends, the IoT Design Centre at DesignSpark aims to set the wheels in motion for discussions around best practice and recommendations for products suitable for use in IoT applications."
RS will be streaming a free live webinar called 'The Internet of Things, living and working smarter' on Friday 26 September to coincide with the launch.
IoT thought leader Alexandra Deschamps-Sonsino will be talking about the reality of connected devices designed to enhance our lives by living and working smarter.
