Samsung signs Wolfson as primary audio partner
Mixed signal specialist Wolfson Microelectronics has signed a multi year IP license and component supply agreement with consumer electronics giant Samsung.
The deal sees Wolfson become the South Korean firm's primary audio partner for its Galaxy range of smartphones and tablets.
"This is a significant milestone for Wolfson," said the company's ceo Mike Hickey. "Having worked closely with Samsung over recent years, this agreement is a testament to our strong IP portfolio and our growing partnership."
