SBC feature Intel Core i7 processor
Eurotech has announced a rugged single board computer based around the Intel Core i7 processor range. The ANTARES is a 5.25in format board offering dual core processor options ranging from a 1.83GHz Celeron to a 2.53GHz Core i7.
Said to be suited to applications requiring a combination of high processor bandwidth, low power consumption and long production lifecycles, the board operates over temperatures ranging from -20 to 60°C .
The industrial SBC includes a range of peripheral interfaces, with expansion possible via PCI-express and dual mini-PCIe sockets. Advanced graphics functionality allows concurrent connection of up to four video outputs.
Fanless, diskless applications are catered for using the ultra low power i7-620UE processor coupled to a site for flash memory containing operating system and application images. Windows Embedded Standard and Embedded Linux are available preported and ready to run.
