Sounds great!
A chipset from Zetex, unveiled at CES, is said to support a sound quality rivalling that of the best linear amplifiers.

Comprising a multichannel digital modulator and an analogue feedback processor, the chipset is targeted at high performance consumer audio products, including home theatre, stereo hifi and active speaker applications.
The chipset creates a highly scalable amplifier architecture that suits power levels from 100W up to 500W into 8ohm. Up to eight single ended or four bridge tied load channels can be supported by a single modulator, with flexible combinations of modulator and feedback processor allowing a variety of channel counts. Zetex’ Class Z digital direct feedback amplifier integrates the functions of d/a conversion, DSP, preamp and power amp, simplifying system design and reducing cost.
