Switch in focus
Abacus has established a pan European operation dedicated to switches. Abacus Switch is supported by more than 30 specialists and by 20 leading manufacturers.
Martin Kingsbury, Abacus’ European marketing director, said: “We’ve always believed strongly that customers should receive the same outstanding technical support for electromechanical components as for semiconductors. Following the acquisition of Deltron in 2006, we have a pan European organisation capable of delivering that support to customers in the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Benelux countries.”
According to Kingsbury, Abacus Switch will provide customers with a single point of contact for all their switch requirements, including power, signal and multifunction components.
Abacus Switch’s portfolio includes all major switch styles, as well as specialist and bespoke solutions.
