The MDO4000C provides a synchronised view of analogue and digital waveforms along with RF spectrum traces. Other features include an arbitrary/function generator, logic analyser and protocol analyser.
“Integrated instruments have proven popular with our customers because they can cover more debugging and analysis tasks with a single instrument, allowing them to keep engineering programs on track and get to market faster,” said Chris Witt, general manager, mainstream oscilloscopes. “The increased performance of the MDO4000C – what we call 6-in-1 plus – makes it the optimal tool for solving tough design problems.”
With a 50% larger display, the oscilloscope has a record length of 20Mpoint and can sample at up to 5Gsample/s on all channels. It can also capture more than 340,000 waveforms per second capture rate.
The spectrum analyser spans to 6GHz, providing the ability to synchronise views across time and frequency domains and to perform vector signal analysis. Meanwhile, the logic analyser boasts a timing resolution as small as 60.6ps and independent logic thresholds per channel. There is also the ability for simultaneous protocol analysis on up to three buses, with triggering up to 500Mbit/s.
