TI has 'intelligent' Vcore system for Intel Xeon processors
Texas Instruments has introduced a complete multiphase core voltage (Vcore) power management system solution for enterprise servers, storage and high end desktop applications.

Compliant with Intel's VR12.5 and VR12 voltage regulation specifications, the TPS53661, TPS53641 and TPS53631 DC/DC controllers and CSD95372B and CSD95373B NexFET smart power stages are designed to power the latest Intel Xeon processors. The complete solution offers efficiencies up to 95% and comes in an ultra small footprint.
The TPS53661, TPS53641 and TPS53631 DC/DC controllers support 6, 4 and 3phase operation respectively. They incorporate TI's advanced D-CAP+ control architecture and a feature rich PMBus command set.
The CSD95372B and CSD95373B synchronous buck NexFET smart power stages integrate an intelligent driver and power MOSFETs in a 5 x 6mm package. Together, TI says the products provide a complete multiphase Vcore system solution with high transient performance, telemetry accuracy and system reliability.
