TTI adds Toshiba Electronics to European power portfolio

TTI has announced that is has signed a pan-European franchise deal with Toshiba Electronics Europe to stock and support the semiconductor company's power, discrete, optoelectronic, logic and motor control driver products.
Products covered by the new agreement include high and low voltage mosfets, optocouplers, LEDs and a range of discrete components such as low noise amplifiers and bus switches. Motor control solutions include optimised mosfets and integrated single-chip inverters.
Geoff Breed, TTI's vice president, Marketing, Europe, said: "Toshiba has been ranked number one supplier of discrete components worldwide since 1986. We added discrete components to our European portfolio in 2008 and Toshiba fits naturally with our line card and business model of handling several commodity components on a customer's BOM with product families that only a few other distributors focus on. Leading manufacturers such as Toshiba are continuously developing new mosfets, diodes and opto products which offer a wealth of performance benefits, so we are delighted to extend our existing agreement with Toshiba, enabling European designers to incorporate these new, exciting parts into their latest projects."
