UKTI supports 69 electronics companies at IBC

UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) is helping 69 British electronics organisations seek potentially lucrative business deals with global brands at this year's International Broadcasting Convention (IBC).

The UKTI's Tradeshow Access Programme gives small and medium sized enterprises up to six grants, varying from £1000 to £1800, to exhibit at overseas trade shows and supports over 3000 UK businesses each year. The IBC, to be held in Amsterdam from September 10 to 15, will feature over 1000 exhibitors and include discussions on topics such as the future for digital broadcasters, as well as how to apply stereoscopic 3D technology. UKTI's chief executive Sir Andrew Cahn, said: "From television to telecoms, the UK's media sector continues to push technology boundaries. UKTI is proud to give such a large group of British pioneers the chance to showcase their revolutionary products."
