XMOS signs Digi-Key distribution deal
Digi-Key has signed a global distribution agreement with XMOS, covering the latter's complete range of event driven processors and development boards. Included in the agreement is the XS1-L1 chip, which provides embedded software developers with a scalable multicore solution, which enables them to build complete systems in software.
"We are very pleased to announce this new partnership," said Dave Doherty, Digi-Key's vp of semiconductor products. "We always have opportunities on our line card for innovative products that are a good match for Digi-Key's global customer base."
XMOS' ceo James Foster, added: "Digi-Key will provide XMOS with greater product exposure and access to an even larger customer base. We are now able to better address the vast pool of engineers across a broad range of markets that turn to Digi-Key for immediate shipment and superb quality of service."
