AC/DC power supplies comply with SEMI-F47 requirements

XP Power has announced the SHP350 series of single output 350W ac/dc power supplies.
Achieving a power density of 6.6W per cubic inch and with a typical efficiency of 85%, the fan cooled units measure 177.8 x 91.44 x 53.34mm and are aimed at industrial applications.
The series comprises six single output models providing the nominal output voltages from 12 to 48VDC. The output is also capable of being adjusted within +/- 10% in order to cater for any non standard voltage applications.
A remote sense facility has been included which compensates for a voltage drop of up to 0.5V due to line losses. An auxiliary output provides an always on 5VDC/0.2A output suitable for powering memory, logic or control functions.
Meeting the SEMI F47 standard for factory automation equipment, the supplies accept the full universal input range from 85 to 264VAC. When operated at high line input voltages above 18 VAC, the SHP350 has a peak power capability that can deliver up to 420W output for up to 10 seconds.
Control signals include ac ok/power fail and a remote on/off input. A single wire current sharing facility allows the addition of extra units to provide an overall higher power output or to configure redundant units.
