AC/DC power supply family adds screw terminal options
1 min read
XP Power has announced line up additions to its ECL family of ultra compact low power AC/DC power supplies.
The ECL-S series, comprising 15 and 25W models, provides a chassis mount screw terminal format option in addition to the chassis mount jst connector, pcb mount and encapsulated versions already available across the whole ECL range.
According to XP, they are the 'smallest units available in the market' and the 15W ECL15-S model measures 84 x 34.50 x 26.4mm. The series is suitable for low power applications that require the use of a chassis mounted screw terminal supply or where parts need to be sealed from the operating environment.
The ECL15-S and ECL25-S single output models provide the nominal output voltages of 3.3, 5, 9, 12, 15, 24 or 48VDC. With these additions, the ECL range offers a wider range of output voltage, power outputs and mechanical format combinations. No additional heat sinking or forced airflow is required and they operate at full power from -20 to 50 degrees C, while derating linearly to 50% output at 70 degrees C. All models have a peak load capability said to provide 130% of rated output power for a maximum of 30 seconds.
