AVX has capacitors for implantable medical devices

The medical grade devices are rated for 4 to 50V and -55 to 125ºC, have a capacitance range of 0.1 to 330µF, and offer very low dc leakage limits. Available in case sizes ranging from A-H, the devices are also said to be the smallest tantalum chip capacitors currently on the market. Several customisation options are available, including custom dc leakage limits, various plating materials, and standard and low ESR variations. The series is also available in bulk, tape and reel, and waffle packaging.
